The Tzenkethi are a vicious spacefaring civilization, similar to the hirogen in the ways that they rarely remain in one place, they are however native to the planet Tzenketh in the Alpha Quadrant. The Patriachy of Kzin and Tzenketh is the largest known group of Tzenkethi recorded in the galaxy they are based in the delta quadrant and after the release of slipstream technology; they are pulling others of their kind into the delta quadrant in hopes to build a fighting force against the borg oppressors in that region.
In the 24th century, the Tzenkethi fought a war with the United Federation of Planets in the Alpha quadrant. It was ruthless but unorganised which was its downfall, the Tzenkethi did not fight in the dominion war and hostilities continue to grow between them and their neighbours: The Krenim Imperium.
