On Stardate 050292.4 President Arturis declared war on Starfleet Command.
This war is estimated to be a long war due to the lack of resources and military strength possessed by the Gideonites.
Starfleet have opted not to counter attack the Gideonites and will therefore not be recieving Gideonite space if they call off their invasion.
Due to the ridiculous nature of this war and my links to Admiral Johnson, The Leader of the Tzenkethi will me moderating this war.
Any Introductory speech, comments or opionions should be posted here.
When Superlator Skreiiakon decides the war will commence and the objectives, missions and battles will be played.
For each section of the invasion there will be multiple battles each person, Starfleet and the Gideonites will present Skreiiakon with the number of ships and troops they will be sending in to complete the mission as well as any technology they possess.
From then on Skreiiakon will inform you of the rules and process of the war. Until a victor is decided whether by surrender or defeat.

Starfleet protests the ignorance of the Gideonite leader. He is throwing his entire civilisation into a war that they cannot win. Yes it will deal a crippling blow to Starfleet but he must know that he will not prevail. Starfleet requests a change of leader on the Gideonite behalf or an end to this war diplomatically.
We will not back down however, any aggresive action against Starfleet or its members will be met with the deadliest force.

We will offer Starfleet our full support, but we urge the Gideonites to reconsider this declaration of war. It is a foolish move as you can not possibly hope to triumph against the combined might of Starfleet and The Andorian Empire.
You would be much better using diplomatic means to try and solve this dispute.

As moderator of this war I must also protest it's absurdity, the Gideonites should indeed reconsider. If not then could both parties please PM me with how many ships they want to use.

The Gideonites send their first assault against Terran outer rim nations, using shops to bombard Terran planets. The superior Terran fleets deploy and begin systematically eliminating the Gideonite vessel's primary attack force whilst the planetary defenses work overtime using refitted weapons and shields to completely neutralise the Gideonite attack.
War Losses: Gideonite: 20,000 ships Terran: 1/21 border worlds 3 ships

Although it looks as though you will not need our help, we will send ships to assist and coordinate with Starfleet.

The Terran Empire opts to launch a counter strike against the homeworld that was lost before too much damage can be done. We shall send wave after wave of Starfleet / Andorian ships until the world is retaken. Failing this we shall launch an attack on the Gideonite borders in hope that they will withdraw their fleets from the sector.

The Terran counter-attack strikes home with the Gideonite weapons proving ineffectual against Starfleet Multi-Ablative Hull Armour. With limited Terran losses the Gideonites soon retreat to form an effective defensive grid around their homeworld, deploying an unusual form of energy grid to protect the home planet, with their remaining few thousand ships the Gideonites uphold their new shield and live to fight another day, awaiting the terran final attack.
Losses Ships: Gideonite-40,000 Terran-2100 Planets- Terran: 1(decimated in sneak terrorist attack) Gideonite: 12/13

5 000 Borg vessels are sent to Gideonite defense. Push them from your borders Starfleet, dont take liberties.

We only intended to push them from our borders. We do not wish for war but by declaring war against the Terran Empire they should have expected losses. Withdraw the gideonite ships and i shall mine. until then I insist you stop aiding people trying to bring unecessary war to the galaxy. I shall, however withdraw my ships to my borders.

The Borg Vessels make short work of assimilating several of the disjointed Terran fleets which remained to protect the borders and give the Gideonites time to strengthen their planetary defenses. As the bulk of the Terran Fleet close in to the Gideonite homeworld now comes the deciding point where Admiral Johnson can offer mercy to the decrepit aggressors or wipe them out once and for all.
Losses: Terran: 357 ships Borg: +357 Gideonite: 0, End Point Pending

The Terran Empire still upholds the principles of the United Federation of Planets and will therefore not desecrate the planets that we have taken. We offer the gideonites a chance to surrender. They must surrender all but their homeworld system and begin evacuation of the planets that we have taken before terraforming to class M can begin. If they fail to comply with these terms we will be forced to remove the Gideonites from the planets by force. An alternative is to join the Terran Empire: your planets will remain your own but you will be bound by strict rules and your government will be overseen by The Terran Empire. Either way you should not have opposed us and we are being generous by giving you the option of surrender.
