Although starfleet welcomes the idea of a peaceful collective we are concerned that it may be an elaborate plot - we would like to add that the borg are still in affect holding 120,000 humans hostage, as they are unaware that
a) they are human
b) they have the option to be an individual
however we wish to open negotiations with the collective.

we are unsure if it is even possible to get them back - they have been assimiliated for some time, and even if we could it is unlikely that we would be able to return them to their original selves. We only plea that no more innocent lives are taken. We wish for peace among the galaxy and therefore offer a hand in friendship but I warn you, if you betray us we will put up one hell of a fight.

You may put up a fight but why? Resistance is futile afterall. However we will not actively hunt for humans as long as they stay out of Borg space. This applies to all if you enter Borg space without first aqquiring permisiion you will be assimilated.

no, seriously - if you hope to open diplomatic relations with Starfleet Command we must be given free path through your space - there are races that we cannot reach any other way than passing directly through your territory. In return we will pay you a yearly tax for this kindness and offer you free route through our space also.

Did i not just say that if you gain permission you can pass through? No matter for all of those who wish for regular acess through Borg Space contact me and i will draw up a contract, similar to a rent. It will cost you though.
