Secondary Objective 3 - Finale
You must destroy or assimilate the entire Arcturian Fleet of 25,230 ships and assimilate the final planet: Arcadia Prime. The ships have taken up positions around Arcadia, they intend to fight to the death. The starbases, defences and turrets are all in operation and the ground troops are ready for your attempt of assimilation. The head of State for the Arcturian Senate requests your withdrawl - he begs that you show mercy: "You have all of our planets other than this one - do not lay waste to our beloved home."

How will you proceed?
How many ships and drones will be utilising. Out of the 50,000 originally sent in 43,100 are still space-worthy.[/glow]

10 task forces of 4 310 ships attack from all angles. Everything is to be assimilated, nothing shall be left.

The Arcturian Senate fought bravely. But the overwhelming force of the collective was too much. At 1930 hours (08-12-05 RT) the Arcturian Senate's defences fell. The Borg ships flooded through the system eliminating every ship, defence platform, starbase they could get their hands on. 1560 transport ships abandoned the planet and managed to escape through a slipstream corridoor - their destination unknown. The borg did not pursue. The remaining Arcturian vessels barracaded the entrance to the slimstream threshold giving the refugees time to escape before launching escape pods and setting collision courses for any borg ship still standing.

At 1940 (08-12-05 RT) the Borg Collective assimilated Arcturia & Arcadia Prime.

The casualty count was massive on both sides. The Borg collective lost 8,000 ships and 7,000 million drones. The Delta Quadrant league of the Arcadian Senate lost 78,000 vessels in the war, 214 stations and 24,160 million troops.
