The Borg Collective has launched a fleet of 50,000 ships towards the Arcadian Senate border. The Arcadian Senate do not wish to surrender, they send 30,000 ships in 300 groups to their main border control areas in hope of holding off the Borg until help can arrive. Commodore Mithranos, leading their main defence force consisting of 500 ships to their homeworld is calling upon any assistance people can offer. At 2000 hours tonight (07-12-05) the Borg Collective will be in weapons range of the first resistance. "We are the Borg, You will be Assimilated, We will add your biological and technological distinctivness to our own, Your culture will adapt to service ours --- Resistance is and always has been futile!" All subspace channels are flooded with this horrific message tonight. Your main objective is to assimilate all planets and people in the Arcadian Senate. You will be given secondary objectives and options throughout the war. Your responses and actions will determine if you come out of this war victorious War SummaryMain Objective : IncompleteYour main objective is to assimilate all planets and people in the Arcadian Senate. - Assimilate The Delta Quadrant Arcadian Senate

The force of 20 000 Spheres, 20 000 Cubes and 10 000 Tactical Cubes await at the border. We are unstoppable, do not try the impossible.

The Battle at Tardis IV
No assistance was offered to the Arcadian Senate.
At 2030 hours their fleet engaged the Borg. The battle was swift and deadly. The borg lost a mere 100 ships to the Arcadian Armada before Commodore Mithranos recalled all ships to the phase 2 battle stand.
The borg assimilated 145 ships. Overall they gained 45 ships from this battle. The Collective is regrouping in sector 414 before beginning Phase 2.

[glow=red,2,300]Main Objective Assimilate all planets and people in the Arcadian Senate Will you... a) attack as a group of ships taking one planet at a time b) split up into taskforces taking every planet in the Arcadian Senate [/i]
Secondary Objective 1 - complete You must assimilate Tarlon Prime and eliminate the attack fleet there before progressing to Secondary Objective 2. Due to heavy Ion storms in the region you can only send in 100 ships at a time.
How will you proceed? How many ships and drones will you utilise to assimilate this world[/glow]

A force of at least 1 000 ships go to each of the planets, no one is to be spared. All are to be assimilated. However the 10 000 Tactical Cubes head towards Talon prime. Confidant that the strongest ships in the galaxy to date the first wave of 100 ships is sent in as soon as one is destroyed another will attack. A constant wave of Borg vessels pound the planet. As soon as a planet is taken Borg planet ships arrive and assimilate the planet. (look at the game Armada 2 to understand what im talking about )

I am omniscient, omnipotent, omnipresent, omnibenevolent - well actually im not all loving but nevertheless. I have no purpose to study Earths history especially that of recreational activities in the 21st century.
1000 ships will be sent to each of their 8 outer sectors. Tarlon Prime will be attacked at 2100 hours tonight.
They have a force of 1500 ships in the Tarlon sector this could be dangerous to send in only 100 ships. Another option is to send in as many as you want but their sheilds will be damaged in the Ion storms, more ships will be lost.
TASK 1 Will you... a) Continue with the 100 ships at a time b) Spend 50 million GPL reinforcing the sheilds of your ships so they can withstand the Ion storms c) Send in any number of ships but risk damage whilst traversing the sector due to Ion Storms

The costs are spent and newly assimilated weapons technology spreads through the collective at a cost of a futher 50 million GPL. The 100 ships charge in, the tactical cube's multiple firing arrays blasting into Acadian ships, drones being transported into damaged vessels.

After a gruelling battle the Arcadian Ships start to withdraw. You have detected Particle 010 (the Omega Particle --- The Borgs God?) on one of the vessels.
TASK 2 Will you... a) Assimiliate the Planet b) Assimilate the Planet and then attempt to track the ships c) Pursue the ships and then return to assimilate the planet

The majority of the ships head out system following the escaping ships. 10 others are left to keep watch over the planet with reinforcements on their way.

The Omega signal was a trap created by the Arcturian Senate. 80 of your ships were destroyed in the subspace explosion. The remaining ships commence their attack on the planet. Planetary Assimiliation... Complete

Secondary Objective 2 You must destroy or assimilate the entire Arcturian Fleet of 25,230 ships and assimilate the border systems before proceeding to Secondary Objective 3. After the victory at Tarlon Prime the Arcturian Government is afraid. They have regrouped their fleets at one sector : "Arcanma" for a last assault. Your fleet is spread throughout Arcadian Space attacking various border colonies and important facilities. The Arcadian fleet launches a large attack on your fleet at Koriska II, destroying all 500 cubes. Their fleet took damage but on the most part their 25,000 ships spread throughout the sector are still intact. You are in the process of assimilating and fighting wars across their territory. Will you allow this act to pass and get revenge when you have completed your attack on the border bases or will you send all ships to converge on their fleet? How will you proceed? How many ships and drones will be utilising. Out of the 50,000 originally sent in 44,400 are still space-worthy.[/glow]

You must complete objective 2 before moving onto Secondary Objective 3. You must assimilate or destroy their border planets and Arcadian Fleet before progressing to taking their capital planet and winning the war. You may use any ships. There are 41,320 of the original 50,000 ships Space-Worthy You sent ships to take the remaining border colonies and planets. There were four remaining planets... Omicron PerseiThey were not expecting an attack on such a small and insignificant system. The battle lasted minutes the only casualty to the borg was two spheres when an evacuation transport collided with them Var Salit VIIIThis colony was a little more difficult but when the borg emerged victorious they were in complete control of the Arcturian Sensor Net. Asercalcuta IVThis system contained seven densly populated M Class Worlds, the assimilation took a long time but borg casualties were minor. The population of the third planet released a neurotoxin into the atmosphere that damages the cybernetic components of drones that it comes into contact with. They are regaining their individuality and revolting against the collective (SEE TASK 4) CatermarnThis sector is the primary border sector and had a large fleet defending it as well as seemingly invincible planetary defence grid. The defences are each sheltered by a shield projected from an unknown source. Your sensors have detected large power outputs on three moons orbitting the 5th Planet. They could be a trap but they could also be the only way to breach the defences without heavy casualties. (SEE TASK 3) TASK 3 - Catermarn Will you...a) Attack the 1st Moon b) Attack the 2nd Moon c) Attack the 3rd Moon d) Attack none and continue the bombing of the shield TASK 4 - Asercalcuta IV Will you...a) Carpet-bomb the planet anihalating all life b) Continue the assimilation c) Abandon the planet and fail Secondary Objective 2 d) Spend 30 million GPL assimilating a cure for the toxin. These are the final tasks for Secondary Objective 2 - upon completion of these your final task will be to assimilate Arcadia and force them into surrender or death.

Task 3- Attack the second moon after running multiple calculations we belive this to be correct. If not, continue with the bombing of the shield. Task 4- Destroy the planet, they are not worth it. Speheres surround the planet, cubes coming in making a web over the surface. The destruction begins.

Destroying the planet was the correct choice to make, but 2 million drones were lost in this devastation. All planets exept for Catermarn have been taken, at the end of the war these will be added onto your military, Overall Galactic Wealth, and size rating.
The 2nd moon was indeed the moon controlling the sheilds 40 cubes head towards it firing. Within seconds the shields drop around Catermarn V and the Borg invade.
This is a terrible day for the Arcadian Senate. Having lost every planet except their capital they pull back all of the remaining fleet to Arcadia for a final standoff. Had you attacked the fleet sooner the assimilation of this next and final planet would have been so much easier, the Arcadian Fleet will now fight to the death.
Secondary Objective 2 : Complete
